Quick Tip 102

Reflections

Usually we are looking for ways to reduce reflections (use a circular polarizing filter) but here is a quick tip… Use them!  Reflections can be found everywhere and can enhance many ordinary scenes.  The photo above was a rather bland photo with a parking lot on the other side (top of frame) of the picture, but when I looked down and saw the beautiful fall colors in the lake it turned into another photograph all together.  You are surrounded by reflections, mirror, window, puddle, creek, lake, sunglasses, spoon, you get the point.  Get creative and notice how you can turn a boring scene into something else completely.
