Kiawah Island Pastels – A Fine Art Photography Project

Kiawah Island is hands down one of my favorite places to visit.  The way I always explain it is it’s like going camping in the woods but at the beach…  And when I say camping I mean staying in a cabin on stilts overlooking the Kiawah River.  The wildlife is abundant and you could spend days just sitting there watching as dolphins frolic up and down the river.  It’s truly one of the most peaceful places I’ve visited.  This last time I visited I wanted to create a project that captured the subtle beauty of the island and its peaceful nature.  For me, this meant a sort of minimalist fine art approach.  Here are the results.

If you enjoyed these images please be sure to check out the Poolside Fine Art Fashion Series I did in Kiawah as well.  You can view those images here.

All prints are available for purchase.  Each print is signed and printed on museum quality, archival papers.  Email me at PhotolisticLife@gmail.com if you’d like to inquire.  As usual, if you’d like to see what I’m working on before it’s published to PhotolisticLife.com you can follow my Instagram account @PhotolisticLife for a sneak peak.  Thank you for checking out this project, please feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
