Week 17
It’s here! It’s here! The weekly Photo Journal is full of some great stuff this week. The first two photos were taken by Paul and Janice at North Park outside of Pittsburgh. I’ve gotten some great shots there but I have never even seen this thing before. It’s an old water tower converted into a fire tower. The rust gives it some really cool color. Both shots look really cool with the tree branches sprawling out like fingers across the frame, very nice.
The following two photos were taken at the same time as the Pearplle experiment from last week when I was stuck in the house. They were fun but I didn’t really feel like they deserved their own post. Getting these photographs just right was not really the point of my exercise. It’s important that we try things outside of our comfort zone to stretch our creativity and make art.
This last photo cracks me up, it looks as though this goose just wanted to be photographed. If you look close enough (i.e. zoom in) you will see my reflection in the birds eyeball.
