Christ of the Abyss at San Fruttuoso, Liguria
Recently I stumbled upon (quite literally because I was using the website StumbleUpon) a website with some beautiful photographs of places I’d like to visit with a camera before I die. The list was 33 deep and each photograph was beautiful. Here are 7 of the more notable and a link to the site to check out the rest. The actual list is called “The 33 Most Beautiful Abandon Places in the World“.
Sunken Yacht in Antarctica
Kolmanskop in the Namib Desert
Fishing hut on a lake in Germany
Cincinnati’s abandoned subway depot
Angkor Wat in Cambodia
El Hotel del Salto in Colombia
(Photo’s via Nature Pictures, via StumbleUpon)
I am all over the bucket list …. but I have to add one more scene to your list…. the Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road in Australia! The ocean is shaping the landscape and it is changing over the years! It is stunning and rated as one of the great coastal routes by the WHO! https://traveldestinationbucketlist.com/2011/10/17/cycling-australias-great-ocean-road/
AnitaMac Awesome! So many places, so little time. What’s been your favorite spot so far?
JohnBarbiaux AnitaMac So hard to narrow it down to just one! Galicia on the Camino de Santiago was another favourite! https://traveldestinationbucketlist.com/2012/11/06/galicia-on-the-camino-de-santiago/ Stunning scenery day after day!
