This shot was taken in Miami as my wife and I were walking to dinner from the Raleigh Hotel (awful hotel). I was shooting with the Nikon Df and happened to look up just as an airplane was flying overhead. The architecture caught my eye first and then I noticed that the plane looked as if it were tiny and flying through the building so I framed the shot and took it. This was the only shot I had time to take before the plane was out of the viewfinder.
Lesson: Always have a camera and don’t forget to look up.
