Processing your photography is a fairly personal affair, you’d like the image to look great when you look at it but you want other people to appreciate it as well. It’s normal for people to over process when they use post processing software for the first time (generally they over saturate or over sharpen) and it can be difficult to know how much is too much… Much like I imagine what happens to a girl who uses makeup for the first time and ends up looking like the Joker from Batman.
The image below was one that I took recently that has been processed differently than I would normally do. I think it’s important to try new things when processing your images in an effort to develop your own style. Take a gander and see what you think.
