Photo Journal – 8 Hour Old Kittens

I have not done a Photo Journal of my own in over a year but this was too cute to pass up and I’m pretty sure half of you only want to see kitten pictures anyways.  So here you go, 8 hour old kittens being cared for by Dr. Lauren Blood from the North Boros Veterinary Hospital in the North Hills, P.A..  They look like mice to me but I also think newborn babies look like gross potatoes.

Fun Fact: Baby kittens are one of the fiercest predators in the rain forest.  Baby kittens can’t urinate or defecate on their own at 8 weeks old, they must be manually stimulated until they are about 3 weeks old.

There you have it, it doesn’t get any more kitten than that… 8 weeks old!  The mother was brought in for a C Section which Dr. Blood did masterfully and saved the little buggers so they could have a long life of coughing up hair balls, scratching the dickens out of your chairs, woodwork, leather couch, and pretty much anything else that you liked in your house.

Do you have an interesting photograph you’d like to share with the rest of us?  Head over to the Submit an Article page and upload it using one of the categories that best describes your photograph.  Enjoy!
