Pittsburgh Spectral Ascending Light Show

The 2013 Pittsburgh Arts Festival is underway and to kick it off Pittsburgh christened the renovated Point Park and its Fountain with the Spectral Ascending Light Show put on by Lightwave International with Yvette Mattern.  The light show will finish on Sunday, June 9th at 11 pm (it’s from 8pm to 11pm Saturday and Sunday).  The photograph below was taken from Mt. Washington near the Duquesne Incline.  Click the photograph to zoom in closer and see the rainbow of lights directed at the new water fountain.
