Over or Under?

You Be The Judge

I keep reading that a budding photographers biggest mistake is over processing a photo.  What is over processed?  What does it look like?  Is there a rule of thumb and how do you measure it?  Is this photo over processed or under processed?  You guys be the judge and let’s see what the majority thinks is over processed.

It did not really appear to need any processing but what was done was subtle, at least that’s how it appears on my phone!

I agree, I like when processed photos are almost indiscernible from the original… just slightly enhanced.

Good question, according to Wikipedia and Websters Dictionary art is:

The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture,…: “the art of the Renaissance”
