Day Eighty Nine
Bambi lives! For now. As I was hiking out of this area I passed a couple of hunters looking for their next victims. If you’re looking for a challenge this fall, try hunting… with a camera. No, I don’t mean hollow out your camera and Magiver together a rifle out of it (though that would be impressive). I mean try to get close enough to a deer, turkey, duck, or otherwise wildish animal and get a great photograph of them. It’s not as easy as it sounds without having a 500mm lens. You need to either be there in waiting, hidden like Rambo under some grass, or sneak up on said animal while remaining down wind of them so they don’t pick up your scent and scurry off.
